a new year a new beginning…

During the holidays we moved our brick and mortar store to it’s exciting new home at 3717 N. Southport. We love our new space! We are looking forward to welcoming new customers as well as our wonderful regular visitors in the months ahead.

We have also added new vendors and products to our store and website. We are excited about all the things we have planned for 2022!

When Laura and I began the Guild over two years ago we had no idea the challenges that lay ahead. The global pandemic has impacted so many- especially local and global artisans and indigenous tribes around the world. Now more than ever we are committed to assisting artisans and brands that are making products sustainably, with fair-trade and upcycling practices. Many of our vendors have charitable give-backs and we love being able to share their stories in depth when people visit our store.

Our goal with the Guild is to make “conscious” shopping easy and enticing with all the wonderful products we have in-store and online.

Most of our customers enjoy shopping at The Guild not only because our offerings are unique and beautifully made but due to the fact that we can explain the origin and values associated with each item. We offer fashion for men, women and children, accessories, wellness, home goods, art, and artisanal food. Anyone looking for something meaningful and often ‘one of a kind’ can find it at The Guild.
